On this property on the waterfront, the original sash windows had been removed and replaced with a Pivot window.
Unfortunately the original case had also been removed, so we manufactured and fitted a complete new double glazed sash window. Our painters then finished the job on site.
On this property in the Morningside area of Edinburgh, we have undertaken extensive joinery work, including the renovation of the sash and case windows on the property.
At the clients request, all of the original paint was removed from the sashes before the painting work was undertaken.
New double glazed bay windows
On this 1st floor property in Trinity we removed the single glazed sashes from the windows, and made up some new double glazed sashes to match the originals. The cases have been restored and draught proofing installed. The site joinery took just over a day and our painter finished off the pointing and painting work.
I was very pleased and impressed with the workmanship and quality of the replacement double glazed sashes. The skill and expertise shown by those involved in the fitting and painting of the units is also worthy of a mention.
It was also gratifying to see the steps taken to protect the surrounding work area, the complete removal of all debris and the care taken in cleaning up before leaving.
