Our client on Moray Place, Edinburgh, opted for our “Double Glazed Upgrades” whereby we manufacture and install new sashes to match the existing with double glazing pre-installed.
Manufacturing sashes with curved/arched heads is a highly-skilled and labour intensive process and one to which our workshop staff are well accustomed.
These particular sashes were manufactured using Accoya timber. This type of wood, while expensive, is guaranteed to be rot-resistant for up to 50 years. Our client decided during their quotation to use this timber.
