So grateful to everyone at Edinburgh Sash and Case for their work. From the first conversation through to the final clean, everyone has been really great. Alan, Danielle, Innes, Daniel (I think!) and Sean spent time and care on the job. We spent two years planning a windows upgrade for our B listed... flat. It was a combo of upgrades of existing sash and case windows to slimline double glazed and creating 4 pairs of new double glazed slimline sash and case windows to match our neighbours and restore the front of the building to it's former glory. We knew it wasn't the easiest job and some firms wouldn't even quote but they've done a great job and have been a pleasure to have around for the last three weeks. Thanks guys!read more

We had a bay window with three windows refurbished and upgraded with draught strips. Involved replacing some glazing and redecoration. This was all carried out in a professional manner.

We had 13 windows replaced with double glazing. It all went well and we are happy with the windows. James, Jordan and Pawel were probably the friendliest and most tidy tradespeople we have had in the house. They also arranged to fit our bathroom window early, before our bathroom renovation began,... which was hugely appreciated so as not to mess up the new bathroom. That being said, its worth noting that their payment terms are to pay 100% of the total bill, before you have even had a single window fitted. I disagreed with this and after complaining, they agreed to let me retain 10% until completion. One thing I would have chosen differently would have been to just get double glazing inserted into our original livingroom sashes rather than fully replacing the whole sash and glazing. This is because they were original hardwood with an old stain on them and it’s totally impossible to match the original stain or type of wood grain, even though they tried. For the other painted windows this wasn’t an issue.read more

We used Edinburgh Sash and Case to renovate the windows in our flat which is in a listed building. From initial contact with Danielle through to the painters (John and Ken) the company were excellent to work with. We had plenty of notice of start dates for each phase of the work and these were... adhered to. The guys doing the work were able to give accurate timings so we when they'd finish. And as importantly as doing a professional job (they definitely did), they left the flat clean and tidy. Big shout out to David and Sean, who did the repairs/renovation and to John and Ken for the painting. I'd happily use this company again.read more
